I stayed in cottage B with a friend and had a great experience! Very spacious with 2 rooms. One queen and two twins. The place was very clean and the staff and owner were all extremely welcoming. We had a problem with the shower door and the owner came in and fixed it her self. She was really nice. There are cute picnic tables and charcoal bbqs in front of each cottage. There's also a porch of some sort in front of each one. Great place to relax. It was about a 15 min walk to downtown but the walk was nice in the summer time! There is a beach access just a block or two down the road which was nice. I would definitely come back again!

My family has come to this B&B for several years. We have rented three different cottages and stayed in the B&B a couple times. Jan, the owner, and the staff are tremendous. They are friendly and always concerned about making your experience a good one. The cottages are moderately priced and well maintained as is the B&B. The breakfasts are always delicious! You will love this place if you have small kids. They are about 2 blocks from a public beach. They have a pool, play ground, basketball court, tennis court, and bicycles to use. They have lots of movies for rainy days and are always up on the good things going on in town. They have a fire pit for evening smores or a cozy fire & wine time. Victoria is a great place for couples too. You'll love biking around town, walking on the beach, walking into town, or watching the sun set. Our family has made this place a tradition! You will love it too!

What a lovely place to stay, very quiet and well within walking distance of the main shopping district and beaches of South Haven. Not our first time in town, but the first staying here and we will definitely return. We had some friends from the Czech Republic staying with us and took them here to experience some small town, Michigan charm. They loved it! We stayed in the B cottage--two bedrooms with TVs; eat-in kitchen with all appliances; living room with TV, VCR, DVD player, and fireplace; bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath; and screened-in porch. Very comfortable and plenty of room, enough for even a longer stay of a week or more. Took advantage of the whirlpool bathtub and patio charcoal grill while we were there, and there is also a small pool, tennis court, and basketball court on the well-manicured grounds, along with bikes to take into town. The main shopping district and beaches are less than a mile away and just across the bridge. Highly recommend it!

Victoria Resort Bed & Breakfast is a lovely and romantic place to stay in South Haven. My boyfriend and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we travel to South Haven to visit family twice a year. We always stay one night at the Victoria Resort when we're there, and it is always such a treat. The queen suite is beautiful, and fitted with many amenities including a fireplace, TV, couch, coffee table, roomy mini-fridge, jacuzzi tub for two, shower, and coffee maker. Jan, Amanda, and the rest of the staff at Victoria are extremely friendly and helpful. There are many thoughtful details at Victoria Resort that add to the charming experience, like the fresh baked treats in the common areas, and the chef's willingness to share their delicious house recipes (I loved the sun dried tomato and spinach quiche we had for breakfast when we were there in late December, and Amanda was nice enough to send me home to California with the recipe). Victoria Resort has the quaint charm one expects from a small town B&B, while rivaling the professionalism of any 5 star hotel with their wonderfully attentive staff. I highly recommend staying at Victoria Resort.

What an enchanting little getaway this is. My husband and I just spent two nights in the queen deluxe and absolutely loved it. The room was a perfect size, bathtub big enough for two, standup shower, fireplace, couch and coffee table. The fridge is huge. Could fit a pizza box in it which was surprising. Nice size TV and a ceiling fan which was great as it got a little toasty in the room. Breakfast both days was delicious. They usually have a special every morning and then put out fresh baked goods, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit. Coffee, juices, hot chocolate...you name it. The ladies running the place were extremely helpful in finding out what was going on downtown and which places to eat were the best. The walls weren't too thin where we could hear conversations but you did know when your neighbors left their rooms. Not a big deal. Our room was cleaned each day with new towels, the coffee table had extra pillows and blankets inside it, so you didn't even have to worry bout going to the office for anything. We will stay here again and recommend this B&B to friends and family.

Loved this place! This was my first B&B experience and I'm definitely a convert. So adorable and charming, room was gorgeous, food was EXCELLENT, staff super friendly, absolutely awesome time. We got a package with a massage which was incredible too. Only downside is the Jacuzzi tub was SUPER noisy, to the point they ask you to not use it late at night. Kind of takes away from the ambiance a bit, which isn't their fault but an unfortunate fact. Since this noise travels so easily, I could see noise from other patrons being a problem during peak season. For our stay in December though, not an issue at all! I would come back.

Second time here...close to the water. Very nice place to stay, the first time and second....but we were luckier the 1st time with no one above our room. Either a ghost or a person who spent their entire night awake, for whatever reason, and walking the floor just happened above our same room this time. Ummmm dude, b n b go to BED! Of the three b&b's we have stayed at, this is the best. The breakfast is /was very good, the staff is friendly, the room is nice, romantic, the grounds are kept well, no worries friends!!! Bikes on premises to ride, movies at the front to check out....biggest issue the town has is dining......lack of good dining. Lots of wineries within 25 mile radius, north and south, so plan for that and do your dining in those towns.

My husband and I enjoyed a two-night stay in one of the cabins. The real fireplace was wonderful and the staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go that extra mile to make sure our trip was great. We will definitely be back!

The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The queen room was very nice. We walked (1 mile) downtown and really enjoyed the small shops and restaurants. The breakfast was great also. If you like B & B's this is very nice.

Clean, simple rooms, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. My wife and I have been to the Victoria twice now over the course of three years. The room's aren't super fancy -- the first time, we got the "Space Saver" room which was basically a place to put a bed and a small bathroom. We knew what we were getting, though, and that's OK. The room was simple, clean, and we weren't going to be in it very much with all the fun things to do in South Haven. This year, we found out that they had converted the "Space Saver" room to a public sitting room... guess it wasn't selling that well. We rented a bigger room with a whirlpool bath for the Blueberry Festival this summer. Again, the room was as described -- clean, and up to date. The only negative comment I have was that the room was too cold on our arrival and the thermostat didn't seem to have any short-term effect on the air vents. It wasn't bad enough for us to bother the innkeeper, though, and the thermostat must have been working fine since we didn't notice it being too cold later in our trip. The breakfasts tend to be egg bake casseroles, but are quite good and the staff is very attentive and friendly. They offer milk, an assortment of juices, and coffee for morning beverages and in addition to the main course which changes every day, you can also have cereal, bagels, fresh fruit (when in season) and yogurt. The Resort offers the use of bicycles for free -- we used them the first year and while they were old models, they were fine and got us to where we wanted to go -- as well as tennis racquets and basketballs for activities. You can also rent movies from the front desk and watch them in your room. But really... why would you? Go out and have some fun. Don't come here expecting The Ritz - come here to get a great, inexpensive night's sleep in a clean room, a great breakfast from your staff, and the enjoyment of all that South Haven has to offer.
